Hello,

I'm new to the Forum here but have been looking to get a FZ6 myself. I've come across one locally here but wanted to get some opinions from all of you on whether it's a good deal...

2005 Yamaha FZ-6

The miles are ~ 20k and its an '05

The seller is looking to get $3k with described accessories.

I guess the bottom line im looking to find here is whether the 20k miles is too high?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Regards,

Matt

Welcome!

I'd say 20k is definitely not too high. Many members will tell you the same thing.

Assuming it has been well kept/serviced, I'd say it's a good deal, especially with the luggage and headlight modifications.

At the very least, it is worth taking a look at the bike up close.

Thank you for the welcome and input, guys. I'm planning on seeing it tomorrow. Not planning on taking this thing to the track for hard miles just cruising back roads and maybe hitting some corners here and there.

Matt

I do the headlight HID projector retrofits and the HID parts alone is worth $300. The labor is worth about $200. So you are getting a $500 headlight upgrade in this price...
