New member welcome thread..

Hello to everyone. I used to ride for years but back in Dec 84 some moron cut in front of me and needless to say I went like superman flying over the car totalling my 81 seca 550. That scared me from riding but in April 07 I bought a little bike then in Oct 07 I bought a metric cruiser. Just sold the little bike and bought the FZ6. What a great bike. I enjoy riding again will hope I continue to ride for years to come. This is a fantastic forum site. The info is fantastic. Thanks to all for this site.

Hey, glad you're back in the saddle and enjoying it! You definately found a good group of folks here.

Hello,
I have been posting in the forums for awhile, but I have never introduced myself, so I apologize for the bad manners. My name is Peter, I am 21 and live in southern California. I have been riding for almost 2 years. I own a 2007 Red FZ6 and really enjoying it. This forum has been incredibly useful and is full of good people; I only hope I can contribute and help others in return.

Hello,

My name is Pawel, I'm from Warsaw, Poland. Some time ago I've decided to start motorcycle adventure and my friend who is Yamaha dealer offered me a brand new FZ6. I bought it, and I'm extremely happy:)

I hope I will find on this forum a lot of usefull informations, and people with the same passion to motorcycles.

Hi all!
I am George, living in Rhodes, Greece...and just bought a red 2005 Fz6!
For sure i ll find a lot of stuff here about the bike from you guys, so thanks already.

I think the red ones are faster too, however when I told my girlfriend about my bike she was surprised I didn't go with the Yamaha blue. Oh well, when your buying a used bike, color is something you live with or paint over.

Hi I'm Brad from Northern Idaho. I just joined the forum about a week ago and have had lots of help and hope I have helped others as well. I am currently in California in the Bay area cause I volunteered for my second deployment in support of OIF-OEF, my first tour was in Iraq about 1hr north of Baghdad. I have a 2005 FZ6 that is SILVER (that's for all the hater's LOL) with about 11,500 mile on the clock. This is my third bike. My first was a '94 Yamaha Virago 535, second was an '82 Honda Interceptor 500 (a.k.a the Captain Americabike) and now my pride and joy, the FZ6! Glad to join and I'm glad I found this site!

Brad
