new member from oregon!

hi everybody, my name is nick and im from portland oregon. 20 years young been riding bikes since i was 5, use to race motocross till i was 13 and now just ride for fun. At the moment i don't own a fz but plan too in the near future. have owned a super moto for about a year just to commute to school but now im looking for something a little bigger so i can make trips to Cali over the summer. soo i figured i would join a forum before i got a bike to get a heads up on what i should be looking for in a bike and what years to look for. any help would be appreciated

yes i have!! i deffinatly have had my fair share of dirtbikes but only motard for street, which is hardly a street bike. lol.

thanks everybody for the greeting so is there usually a lot of meets in the washington/oregon area? so curious...what do you guys think is a good price o a 2006, 07 fz6 with around 4k miles? it seems the going rate is around 3500 to 4500.

That doesn't sound to far off and keep in mind it there will be other considerations when buying a used bike like how it's been cared for, what add ons it has, etc
Good luck on getting your FZ6. They are great bikes!

yea that is true. so far all the ones i have looked at have all been pretty clean and stock. is there any difference between thoses years?
