Everything old is new again.
Even kickstarters. I was just reading about this new, classic Yamaha SR400:
2015 Yamaha SR400- First Look Review- Photos- Specifications- Price
I like it. Appeals to my current, Small is Beautiful mindset.
How cool!!!!
My neighbor used to have the 500 single (way back), it had to be dead on (compression stroke as I re-call) to start it or you'd get hurt....
Didn't they come out with a manual decompression valve on those 500 singles? I though a read that a long time ago about the SR500.
Why is everybody so uppity about the exhaust? Especially on this forum where everybody has a set of pipes on their bike. The 4-4 exhaust is just inefficient, thats why just about everybody put a 4-1 on all of the older (now cafe era) bikes. the big deal is the transmission, with the correct amount of gears this time (six of them). so many bikes out there could have been candidates for the stables but have 5-speeds and therefore dont deserve a slot. the big 3 that could have been:
FJR13
ZRZ11-12
CB1100 (the old one)
