Need some travel ideas

Since the bike isn't going to be fixed for a while, me and the wife decided to take a ride to New England for week. Our first stop will be Newport, RI. after that we have no set destination, we'll be wandering and end up where ever we end up.

Does anybody have any good suggestions on some possible sights or destinations that might be good?

Thanks, we plan on seeing a couple of the mansions and do the cliff walk.

you could head up into NH to the white mountains, great scenery and you can drive up or climb (if you are hiking folks) Mt. Washington, and if it is this weekend you can meet up with many of us for the NE FZ6 Meet, we could meet up after if you don't have your bike.

Mt. Wahington would be nice, we are leaving this Saturday morning, not sure if we can make it to meet you guys or not, would love too. By time we get the dog boarded and get on the road it will probably be real late morning.

What time do you guys estimate on wrapping up?
