need handlebar help

Hi all, I need to change the handlebars on my 09 fz6, the kill my wrists and elbows, Ive tried just riding this year to see if I can adapt to them , but no go.. So I'm looking for a straight bolt on no mod handlebar setup ( less sweep) . and a parts list of anything else I may need, like bar ends.. I'm not afraid to drill or anything. please help! I've read that any 7/8 bars will fit , to only fz1 will be proper, so I'm kind of confused. I'm kind of rural , so its 3 day wait for any parts from anywhere, so I'd like to be ready to swap over in an evening

Somewhere in storage I have a new FZ1 bar if it will help. I think there have been lots of posts on this mod. I never mounted them so I'm no help. Do a search. 25$ plus shipping. Where is "trail b.c."?

Any 7/8" bars will work, but FZ6, FZ1, and FZ6R handlebars all use the same bar end weights.
FZ6R handlebars have less of a sweep angle, with the same amount of rise.
FZ1 handlebars have less of a sweep angle and no rise, so you're more leaned over.

very happy with the setup, just had to drill the locator pin holes, and drill and tap for the bar ends!

Woah, I'm glad I stumbled upon your post. I almost paid $60 for Renthal Road Ultra Lows. I might get the gold ones offered. They dont look "orange" like the ebay listing claims. More like a warm gold.
