We have a team entered into the first ever Captains Cup. It is a Captain Morgans Rum Contest.
We our tied for 1st place and at this point we have all the votes we need. There was 10 challenges and some needed 150 votes to get an extra 3 points.
We will be getting one more tie breaker challenge, if we win that , we will win!
We have kept the lead for most of the contest so far and could not have done it without all your votes! Thanks so much!
Each respective country's winning team will win a trip to the Global Final in South Africa held from 2nd – 9th July 2010 (the "Prize"). Full details of the Prize are to be announced but will include:
# 1 week (7 days) trip to South Africa, including [economy class] return flights and [3 star or equivalent] accommodation; and
# Activities, transport, and meals whilst in South Africa.
# Approximate retail value of the Prize for 4 persons is $25,000 CND. Value will depend on the winners' point of departure, fluctuations in the exchange rate, and any fluctuations in the cost of airfare, currency exchange, and accommodations.
The Global Final will also involve a series of further challenges judged upon similar criteria as provided by Clause 5.2. The winning team will be crowned The Captain's Cup Global Champions ("Global Champions"). For the avoidance of doubt, with the exception of a Global Champions trophy, no further prize will be awarded but the winning team will be involved in related publicity.
