I was hoping to get the TCP solo seat cowl but after emailing the Holland distributors I found it is £200 so that was just too much. Then I saw this on ebay starting at £1. Unfortunately I didn't get it for that cheap (£50 inc postage) but it's still a quarter of the price of the TCP. I know it's not a great fit and not brilliant but I can always sell it later (hopefully for a profit) if I decide I want to splash out for the TCP.

Incidentally, anyone who uses ebay should use this free software to snipe. It's saved me a fortune over the years and gives you a fuzzy warm feeling inside seeing all the other bidders lose out! :rockon:

Yeah. A guy on the forum for my last bike started knocking up a cowl for his bike and then started selling them after loads of people wanted them. And this is for a GPZ500! A FZ6 would have loads more customers! Someone needs to make one in the style of the TCP one for half the price and they'll make a bundle. Only problem is the painting. The paint needed isn't cheap. On ebay, it costs about £30 for a 300ml can of matching paint with clearcoat. There doesn't seem to be anyone who sells it at a decent price.

Sanger, that looks great! I like the Yamaha seat cowl, but it is as much if not more than the TCP. Congrats on the find.

Have you seen this site? They have the TCP and a Metisse brand. Scroll down a little for the seat cowl.
