Yeah I know we used that excuse in High School, buy my dog really ate a part off my bike.

Battery Died earlier yesterday as I left the key on by accident (that's ADHD for ya) both left and right pieces were sitting where the seat would be while I had the Tank raised slightly to access the battery to connect the charger. My mischievous border collie decided he'd play with the right piece while i wasn't using it...

The smaller black plastic piece on the right hand side that gets bolted through the front fairing.
It is held on by 2 silver Hex Bolts. Here's a pic to help I.D. the part.
If I need to show the still good piece, because this one is chewed up pretty good, just lemme know. But I think this should suffice.

If anyone might have one of these I'd gladly buy it + shipping of course.

In case pics do not show, album is here:

CCNDP - Cisco-Certified Network-Destroying Puppy.

True story: While running a line to my TV, I run a cable test and the wiring shows all messed up - ok, I guess I managed to mess up the rj-45 wiring - i don't do it very frequently. re-do, test again - same story. ok, i really need more practice, i guess. Re-do. Test again - same thing... what the? Turns out somebody upstairs chewed through the wire while i was in the basement setting up the router.

I know the feeling!

My 70 lb American Bully has eaten:

1 couch
2 pairs of gloves
1 pair of pants
3 pillows
1/2 gallon of ice cream we accidentally left unattended during a birthday party.
The handles off my cooler
The latches off my cooler
His bed x 3
3 pairs of plastic safety goggles
2-3 respirator masks
The rubber handle off my bbq grill tongs and spatula
Every plastic (fake rock) border piece around our ornamental garden.
A brand new dress shirt
a leather coat
and more!

Thankfully he has grown out of it for the most part and only chews if super bored.

I'm in IT so I feel your pain! LOL
Things kinda like that happen often where I work, mainly because for several years, there wasnt really an IT department, so vendors would find whatever hole they could in the Server Room, and either mount something there or shove a wire through it!
Needless to say, I've been there over a year and I see progress, but anyone else will cringe at the site. Then I tell em, ya shoulda seen it before we got here... Most Net Admins faint at that point.

Turtle Wax with a heavy Carnuba Compound maybe?

Your dog ate your bike! Yikes.

Double check, but I think this is the part detail to help you search:
