My 08' FZ6 has never had the fork seals replaced:questions

My 08' FZ6 has 17,750 miles on it now(purchased it with 14,500 a yr. ago)and it was always garaged by the PO;I see no nicks or damage to the tubes. I have HyperPro springs and their oil to install.
I want to order OEM seals/wipers,etc. and open these up,flush them all out and install the seals.
I've done plenty of fork seals before on 70's-90's smaller forks and have many fork seal drivers to use;I'll look and see if i have a 43mm. Do you recommend I replace the copper washers on the damper rods,etc. ?

Yes. Copper washers deform when they are torqued and should be single use. Also while you’re in there, take a look at the bushings for wear.

I'll look at the bushings for wear,and to see if the anti-friction(teflon?)coating is still all-there.

I think you are also planning a rear shock upgrade? If you are going this deep into the front, I would strongly consider adding the racetech gold valve emulators that Gary recommends.

I have a set of R6 front forks for it also;I know I'll be 'spoiled' with a new HyperPro rear shock and R6 front forks,and may never want to use the stock front forks again.
I'll do the stock forks w/ springs first and enjoy that mild upgrade,just for now;then install the HyperPro rear shock,give them all Go. Gradually move-upward to the R6 forks.

When I replaced my OEM fork springs with Hyperpro ones, I didn't have any fork-seal drivers, but a piece of PVC tubing did the job!

Also, FYI, the Hyperpro oil is IIRC, 15W. I only weigh about 63kg and, especially in cold weather in the UK (under about 15 degrees centigrade), I found it a bit too harsh, so mixed in some 5W to reduce the damping a bit to make the ride a bit softer.
