Hi ya'll,

Has anyone used Motrax Slime or similar in their tyres? I wonder how good it is?

I always carry a can of tyre weld with me in case of a puncture, but it would be good if I could dispose of the can and have the stuff "ready to spring into action" inside my tyres. :)

Wondering if:

1. If it changes the balance of the tyres at all? Probably not noticeably I'd guess, especially at speed where it would be evened out against in inside of the tyre wall.

2. How quickly it seals a puncture while running? Would it stop a blow-out for example.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Highly recommended here
I had a hole the size of a large nail in my tyre, sealed it completely without loosing any pressure.
I can only imagine I'd run over something sharp in the road.Put it this way,if I didn't have slime in the tyre,it would have suddenly deflated at speed. Not good ;)

I wonder what it's like when you go to change tires after that stuff's been in there for however many thousands of kms.

It's the one product that tyre centres don't mind.washes away with water.
Stuff like mouse,or gel sticks all over the rim and gives them the raging hump! :D
