Hi Guys

I saw this howto:
http://www.600riders.com/forum/how-tos/16977-how-increase-cornering-clearance.html

How to make turns better, but the images of modifying sidestand are not available.
I've looked around the site and have not found how to make these changes.
Does anyone know how to make these changes or where to find them on the site?

Thank you.

Ps. Sorry for my poor english ..

Have you been scraping your pegs? Already removed the center stand and peg feelers? If you haven't then theres no need to mess with the side stand yet.

Plus I'm pretty sure if you still have the stock pegs it's impossible to grind the side stand unless your in a lowside lol

I always removed mine for the track because is decked out like crazy and never had an issue on the street with proper suspension set up. I can't help you with modifying the sidestand but just want to mention that you should consider maknig sure your suspension is not squatting too much and that you are using body positioning to reduce lean angle at a given speed/radius. good luck

Thanks DefyInertia, I do it all, now there's only modify the sidestand

if your positive its scraping then look at it, find where the scrapes are then remove that material.

If I remove the material that is scratched, it will not be left sidestand lol

I bought on ebay the other side stand to try to modification myself, but I'm still awaiting delivery.

So, if I know how to make the change, it will be easier.

you could still do that with the one you bought, look at the one that is one your bike now to find out where it is scraping at then take that material off of the new one

Have you checked the Rear spring setting??? Jack it UP!!!!!

I think there are now 3 or maybe 4 active threads on parts dragging. . .
