May be moving to Vancouver, can you ride year round?

A few do it in Toronto, so I'm thinking it should be feasible in Vanouver with the warmer temps and lack of snow.

Do the roads freeze overnight?

Temperature wise it's doable, except for the few days a year when we actually get snow and people lose all ability to drive. Oh, and make sure you get a good set of rain gear, cuz all it does is rain for about 4 months straight.

Pretty much what was said above. Lots of rain between March-June. Some rain from Oct-Feb. 2-3 days of snow in Jan/Feb. While it only dips below zero briefly in winter it can feel very cold due to the moisture level.
