The R1 is great and John didn't get a chance to ride it cuz we boogied off early cuz of heavy gusting winds on Monty.

Looks like you guys had fun! Bummed I missed out, but replaced the clutch cable today and will get out and play next time.

Front brake = evil when it comes to loose surface. Looks like you were on the front brake, hit the loose shoulder and lost the front. Glad it was minor!

Hopefully better weather next time. I felt like the cold, wind, and low clouds were following us. The riding time we did have was fun (when I wasn't shivering).

Hey all, got home an hour or so ago, I made a detour to have pizza.
It was not the best day to ride, cold temps, light rain, heavy fog on Palomar grade and VERY strong winds going along Montezuma Valley Rd. I had the front end push from a strong gust of wind @ 80+mph in a turn and decided that I had enough for the day...

Thanks to all who attended, next time will be a better day!

The verdict is in, check for your self. There’s not too much damage, mostly cosmetic.
Nothing some black rattle can can't take care of. I guess I’m painting my moles black, I have a scratched up left one already:spank:. Don't ask how.:BLAA:
