Crazy! It looks like a demonstration with an empty tank that is being evacuated with a vacuum.

What did the announcer say, 760? A pressure reading maybe? 760mm Hg is one atmosphere.

Do a search for 55 gal drums. Those seldom have safety valves to equalize pressure so they condense themselves at an alarming rate. . .

Cool vid. It inspired some math.

Tank car rough dimensions, 10 foot in diameter, 54 feet long.

Total surface area is approximately 1853 square feet.
End caps: 2 x 5^2 x pi = 157 square feet.
Cylinder body: 54 x 10 x pi = 1696 square feet.

Total pressure at full vacuum = 14.7 psi * 1853 sqft * 12 = 326869 pounds

That's 163 tons of pressure.
