...so I'm browsing through my local craigslist and I see a two day old ad for a brand new corbin seat for an 2004-2006 FZ6. The price listed was $175 , so I emailed the guy, set up a meeting and 24hrs and $175 bucks later I had a BRAND NEW Corbin seat on my bike.

I couldn't believe the price (he basically gave it to me). The guy is trying to sale his very clean 2004 FZ6 and he said bought the seat but never actually put it on the bike. It's litterally brand spankin new.

What a steal...here are a few pics.

Man Army you got a bargain! I paid $625 to buy a new one this Spring! You could probably sell it in the Spring time and make $200!

What material is it made of?

Hellgate,
It's all leather. It doesn't have the carbon fiber finish that I've heard others discuss on the forum.
The guy said his wife was pissed because he was letting it go for such a bargain. I almost felt like a thief.

You got a steal! Very cool indeed. :D

I think the look of the Corbin really changes the overall look of the FZ too, much more sporty.

RULE #1 - Never tell your wife how much you spend on mods.

Didn't really think about a case. How easy is it to take on and off?

Put in the key, turn it, push one button, and it's off in about two seconds. BTW, if you get a topcase, do NOT bother with the back rest pad that Givi sells as it is unneeded, assuming your passenger is wearing gear with a backpad, and actually pushes the passenger forward too much. Save the $50 for other toys.
