My FZ6 has a big ol' badonkadonk now:

Installed my Givi E52 topcase and rack. A little bit of a pain doing it alone but pretty straightforward.

It sure does rattle a lot on the mount - is that normal?

No. Once it's "clicked" into place. It should not move whatsoever.

Uh oh. Well, you know I bought this used... Is the mount missing something...like rubber pieces between the base and the mount? There is up/down movement where it latches down. It makes noticeable noise going down my driveway and back.

here's the mount:

A quick google search and looks like I'm missing some rubber plugs:

any advice?

Order extras because I know a member that said they kept popping off....

Maybe maye sure you clean them and the hole and dab some black RTV silicone on their bottoms before you pop them in. Let sit over night and you should be good! :D

Yup, it's the rubber plug absence that's causing the play.
Cheap fix (and everyone provided great advice re: where to get them and to get extras  )

Just wanted to update: I got replacement rubber plugs and it fixed the problem. It's rock solid on there now. Thanks guys!

Love this thing! I don't know how I ever went without a topcase before!
