I like your projects  and I find your cleaning to be maniacal. You have set a new standard in the cleanliness craze.

If this is not your first Fz6 project, it might explain a bit about the parts :p
Do let me know if you are selling the headlight. I would speechless if you help about the stay and mount so I won't say anything.

If my bike knew others cared for their bikes in this manor I'm CERTAIN it'd feel like an abused stepchild! :Flip: :D :D

My bike sees that she gets about the same loving as one of her roommates - an RSV-R, and a lot more loving than her other roommate - a banged up triumph sprint - compared to some of you guys, I'm like you FinalImpact. I make up for it in parts, fluids and rides.

What about cleaning the header??

Between the black paint and a nice shiney header, that'd look really good!

Hope your going to tie up the rear directional wires too...

Header will happen when I do the final detailing!

The hanging wires are just waiting for the proper adapters before I tidy them up.

Almost there...

Thank you sir! I have always enjoyed making things new again (or near new I guess).

This on is going up for sale; I have too many things in the garage as it is!

The forum should give you a medal for reviving FZ6s, you have done it a more than a few times.. LOL The bike is looking very nice. At first I wanted to make mine naked but I ended up going stock.. I like it a lot better not naked.. I didnt like the shape I bought mine, I didnt take any pictures before I started ordering parts.
I replaced all the fairings including the front and gas tank.
Did frame sliders, oil, sparks, took hours cleaning the chain and sprockets, new pilot road 2s, blue short levers, blue flame grips, bar ends, replaced rusty rear wheel bolt, I also spent a whole day cleaning and lubing everything, I almost forgot K&N filter that makes it sound and run a lot better(thanks) and I just got done ordering some lights and fender eliminator. I did all in less than a month..

I got tired just typing everything. :BLAA:

Finished!!

After about 1-month worth of work and waiting for parts; she is finished! Photos below for your viewing pleasure ;) Project was fairly low-key, more of a replace/repair and preventative maintenance job than anything else. Still enjoyed it and look forward to number next

Expect to see a Classified ad in the next day or two; let me know if you know anyone looking for a great condition, low miles FZ6.

Thank you all for following along and all the wonderful comments; This is what makes this the best forum on the internet!!
