Ive only had two bikes before this one, both 250's, and rode each for only a year, this one ive ridden on and off for four years and up untill 6 months ago i use to be in 6th gear at 60km/h, i can guarantee there werent any 6000rpm shifts. The bike did fine and i slowly got use to the bike. Everyone on thissite (sorry most people on this site including me ask about more power or horrible sounds at low revs, and get told take it above 7000rpm) and yes the bike goes like crap then, but yeh you do not need to ride this bike up there, i rode most of the time at 4000rpm and it was more than capable of doing it. The big thing is ride to where you are comfortable, this beautiful bike will take you there happily.
