I never got the chance to ride the GSX650F, but I took a beautiful test drive on an FZ6 this afternoon that was waayyyy too much fun!

I'm having a blue '05 FZ6 delivered here tomorrow.
I'm very excited! This is my first bike.

FYI - I got to test ride the GSX before I got my Fazer and it's a great bike too. Very smooth and everything else you would expect from a GSX but as I have said before, the Fazer has more 'spirit' and I found it more rewarding to ride.

congrats on the purchase and you will love it! ave them make sure that the TPS recall has been done on it before taking delivery, other than that just ride it and enjoy!

Now I just need a license plate on the back!
I'm loving it so far just sticking to my neighborhood roads.

I'll venture out further once I've got the vehicle registered

I need some work on my slow, tight turns still.

I've done some reading through this forum.
I'll do that TCP test with the display to see how it's responding.

Very interesting diagnostic tool. I have a lot of learning to do.
The other thing on my agenda is to check the tire pressure and rear spring-load setting.

It was a very close thing for me too between the FZ6S and the GSX650F. In the end (obiously) I went the FZ6S and haven't regretted one second.
