300 miles ago, i bought my new black fz6. Saturday my buddy and I put on the exhaust and went out for a ride. Were getting off rt 309 and some old man cuts us off and slams on his brakes. We swerve back on the highway to avoid running up his a$$ and he cuts back in front of us. My front tire locks up, I take a header over the bars. The bike floats over me and up my friends back (he's on my old Suzuki GS 500). In the end, He's got a broken hand, road rash and is still in the hospital because he needs surgery on his hand, and I've got a broken foot, separated shoulder and an intimate relationship with road rash. FZ is twisted more than likely beyond repair, and the Suzuki if it weren't such a cheap bike to start with would be fixable, but for now, I'm bikeless, and beaten up. If it weren't for a helmet, I'd be splattered all over the highway. Upon going over the bars, I watched the pavement slam and scrape the hell out of my face shield.
Crashing is a surreal experience, try to avoid it!
