You need to get your "mystery passenger" some real riding boots. Hell, you should get her some not fugly boots (I hate Uggs...I think they're dumb, but whatever). Anyway, real riding boots...or at least hiking boots or something better than what "she" has (since they're a mystery passenger, for all we know they're a guy wearing a ponytail wig or something).

A guy wouldn't wear those. If they did, I'd like to personally repossess their man card.

haha - yea, we're looking for Sidi boots for her, but we chose to get a proper fitting helmet instead. Then we'll go for a proper fitting jacket, then boots, then pants.

I'm underwhelmed by Sidi's 'for women' offerings. They're not alone - most of the 'for women' boots out there don't have much protection against the ankle bending the wrong way. Hell, most 'motorcycle boots' overall don't. Pick up a boot with the foot in one hand and the shin in the other, then bend it back and forth. If you can bend it freely with your hands, think about how much it will protect from a bike landing on your ankle and trying to bend it the wrong way.

A continual pet peeve of mine - if you have small feet, the quality boot options are just about nil.

oh, we haven't looked in it much since last weekend was all about the helmet, but I was just going to assume to fit her with regular Sidi boots that were her size...we almost found some for 40% off that were leftover stock, but no dice on size... 7.5 was one size too big
