The wasp or hornet can be just like a little sewing machine and keep tagging you but the bee has a barbed stinger and when it goes in you it stays as the bee separates from the venom gland attached to the stinger. That gland keeps pumping the venom all by it's self like a beating heart filling your injection site.

It must have been a wasp or hornet because there wasn't a stinger and it keep hurting kind of like a little sewing machine. If it isn't better in a few days, I guess I have to head down to the doctor. Yuck! I'll get another lecture on how dangerous motorcycles are etc....

All your experience reminded me of another experience I had the recently.
The weekend before I was riding and ended up with one in my helmet. Sat on the nose guard just infront of my left eye. I didn't open my visor because I was afraid the wind would blow it into my face and get stung (bit). We were in the twisties outside Quincy, CA with no shoulder for a couple miles. I kept one eye on the little m-f'er and one eye on the road. Finally, I pulled over and opened my visor. It flew off. I guess it was my lucky day.

The fair'd version w/stock screen used to shoot bugs and **** under my helmet. The Puig being just a few inches taller has them splatting on the bucket instead of my neck. 5'10", 32" inseam. Freeway is better too!

I think my fav is the heavy beatles that make a "PING" sound and turn to slime!

Story:
My First Gear jacket has full length chest vents that zip. On that Time Distance Rally ride I hung my jacket on a chair for lunch. A stunned yeller came out while we were eating! :Flip::Flip::Flip: I forked Him! :rockon:

Didn't work in my case. I was going somewhere between the speed limit and triple digits (but not anywhere near my top speed)... That's pretty fast in my book.
