Thanks for the replies. I'll do my best to look for damage. Here's the ad:
I am selling one of my most dearest possessions - the Yamaha FZ1. I have to sell it because my financial situation has changed in last month. -
* Less than 1200 miles
* This is a 2007 model (I purchased brand new in April 2008). 2007 model is the same as 2008 model in terms of all specifications.
* Never been dropped, never been in rain. I have cared for it like my pet.
* Ridden only to work and back (12 miles each way).
* First scheduled maintenance has been done
* You are welcome to get it checked by a mechanic or the dealership, but no test rides.

Which means, it's still under warranty. Which means, you can still add an extended warranty. Which, I know where you can pick up a 4-year Y.E.S. for $389.
All that would be required is to pay to have the bike inspected and the original warranty transfered to you. And technically, this can be done at any national authorized Yamaha dealer within ten days of purchase. Once that is done, at any time during the remaining factory warranty, you can purchase an extended warranty from any authorized Yamaha dealer.The local dealer wants $649 for the 4 year. How do I get around that? The warranty says you have to have the bike inspected prior to issuing the warranty.
