FZ6 owner wins Iron Butt Rally - 2011
A friend of mine, and the owner of an '07 FZ6, has won the 2011 Iron Butt Rally. Pete rode his 2005 Yamaha FJR 1300 and logged 13,544 in 11 days. This doesn't include the ride from Minnesota to Seattle to start the event or the ride home from Ontario, Ca either.
Pete really loves distance riding. His 2000 Venture has approx 157,000 miles on it. His FJR had about 135,000 before he started the Iron Butt this year. Not sure how many are on the FZ.
