A co-worker invited me to this years toy run.
He said it would be an all weather event. The weather was on our side with temps. in the lower 50's and sunny.
I wore the standard cool weather gear, thermal top and bottom, wind pants and my Tourmaster intake jacket with both liners zipped into it, gloves, helmet and boots.
I arrived at the local Honda dealership and started looking for someone with something other than a Harley. there were a few Trikes and one BMW with a sidecar for Mrs. Claus. but mostly Harleys,
The official count was 155 bikes. We rode to the Boys and girls club with a police escort, ate a hotdog and watched Santa give away toys to the kids.
It was a lot of fun. I wish more riders would participate. They don't care what you ride as long as you ride.

Been riding our local toy run for years on various Japanese bikes but usually ride a dual sport as the kids love wheelies.
Usually about 1200 bikes! Mostly Harley but who cares. Our toy run starts at the county buildings and the cops close down the intersections on the 5 mile ride to the fairgrounds. Takes about 20 minutes to do the ride due to all the bikes. You see some people in their cars just pissed as they have to sit and wait but most people get out and wave.
A few years back it rained and we had less than 600 bikes. Guess us "real" bikers made that run. May rain this year, time to get the rain gear out.
Always fun to ride in a biker parade but keep a close eye on the other riders as people do weird things in large group rides.
