- Rode in to work... srsly, mid-Jan and expected high is 50+ (F)? Great way to start, and no heated/heavy gear needed. Bike not esp. clean, but Scott will be pleased to hear I was polishing the headers on Sat (in much colder temps)

- Going with an office-mate over lunch to help him buy a '13 Triumph Street Triple R. I'm pleased to say that

1) I will drive the Triumph before he does (from tag/title shop to his house),

2) though he previously had a bike a number of years ago (cbr600rr), I feel like I had something to do with pulling him back in, and

3) it'll be my first ride in a Tesla*

And, it's not even Friday. What _else_ could happen??

* - no he hasn't offered to let me drive this yet, but the day is young

Strangely, the Tesla gave me a bit of a headache... the acceleration _without_ the associated noise (e.g. engine), I think it threw my senses off, was a little disconcerting. The bike was nice, really smooth shifting (compared to chunky Yamaha), nice smooth torque without feeling hooligan-ish. Position was a little too forward for my liking, but enjoyed it.
