And the reason my user name is expatmanxman is because I'm originally from the Isle of Man so am a Manxman.
These are the roads I learned to ride on, in case you don't know once you are out of the 30 or 40 mph limits there is no overall speed limit on the island so it's game on every time you go out on the bike. Some of my mates will no doubt say that explains a lot about my riding style. Follow a police car through a speed limit, reach the derestriction sign and zap, past and away, just have to remember not to do the same back home in England.
As a young lad I can remember the likes of Hailwood, Agostini, Bill Ivy, Phil Read and many more, I was a boy scout and we used to work all the scoreboards which are trackside opposite the pits so we had a close up view of every race, fantastic. My favourite memory is when Bill Ivy did the first 125cc 100mph average lap, stunning.

They are bloody lunatics and none more so than Guy Martin.
