I am trying to make the same mod and i have some questions:

How did you make that Y pipe?
Is it titanium? Did you use titanium weld?
Did you find spare titanium pipe to link? Or did you use the excessive pipe from the exhausts?
How did you link it to the manifold pipe?
How did you hang the license plate?
Did you debaffle the mufflers?

More pictures would be very usefull.

Here is my R1 exhausts,

I bought them from UK, and they were painted black.

Looking at your photos you have cut it in the same spot as me
yes its all titanium so you will need some one to tig weld it i used the bits that was cut off to use as filler wire

I used the excess pipe to make the y but its not long enough so I had to make up a short pipe to join the two using some stainless exhaust pipe

I used one of the mounts that I cut off the out side to hang the licence plate

I didnt debaffle the mufflers but i put some small drill hole in the left hand side one to even flow up a bit because the air flows better though the right because of the y

if you want it louder make more holes test fisrt though

I hope that helps

Thanks for the answer and photos. They'll be very usefull for me.

You've used a clamp to join titanium to stainless, i see. Then you have used the original stainless exhaust pipe.

I have to find a good welder to make all this pipe work.

That bit of stainless joiner pipe i got made up at a exhaust shop that way I kept the stock muffler untouched so it could be put back on if needed.
