I actually managed to control myself:rockon: I take a nice long ride to celebrate my birthday, and as it would figure just at the end of it nearing my house... this douche bag punk on a "hardly" comes barreling down the hill behind me as we approach a traffic light and just about clips me on the left while we are both turning right!
He then proceeds to almost hit the car in front of us all the while trying to figure out what gear he is in.(at least he didn't have to adjust his backward baseball cap) So my basic bodily instinct to trash this POS kicks in and I punch down 2 gears and proceed to grab a handful of throttle when...

It hits me, this jerk is not worth my slightest effort to do anything but back off and let this ass*&^ go. I did manage to actually laugh a little at the future Darwin award winner as he passed the car in front of us on a double yellow.:squid:

I must say I wish the hell we had an open season on these types, I would get my limit daily.

Thanks for letting me vent...Eric

Way to use the old self control

I might not have been so kind in that situation. Some people deserve a good taste of road rash to knock some sense into them! :spank:

:D Don't worry, I'm sure he'll pay for his reckless driving soon...

right.. damn self controll.. but you probably did the right thing.. you would have ended up as the hurt one as the a$$hat rides off... forget about it.. but good story :)

good job keeping it together, i would have patronized him a bit and told him that he had a nice bike and that he looked like he had really good control over it...

If he lives you can pretty much rest assured he will be one more of those Motorcycles are dangerous. I had a motorcycle, them things is dangerous folk.

Or as one guy calls them
Redneck hill scroggins.

You are clearly the bigger man. Well done. I often tell myself that people like that are being punished...by themselves, everyday.

I think the ability to control is derived from the name "Eric"

Your Name Meaning

ERIC
Gender: Male
Origin: Old Norse
Meaning: Ruler Of All

The given name Eric is of Scandinavian origin. It is derived from the name Ei(r)ríkr, meaning "eternal ruler," compounded from the words ei(r) "eternal" (cognate to English aye meaning always and Latin aevum, among others) and ríkr,"ruler" in Old Norse (cognate to -rix in Celtic names and the Latin noun rex, among others). The most common historical form in Scandinavia is Erik. In Norway, an older form of the name is Eirik that is still seen, but Erik is more commonly used in Norway today as it is in Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. In Finland, the form Erkki is also used. The modern Icelandic version is Eiríkur

Well done Eric!

Good job keeping your cool. There are just some situations that we almost have to go through to really know how we'll respond. That's one of 'em. Now you know.

I'm really glad the tool didn't cause you any injury.

Stupidity really should be painful.

Part of me wanted you to blow by him like he was standing still......... but you saved his life as he would have crashed trying to keep up. Good job, older and wiser!
