I am so not ready for this

These were taken last night and this morning. Notice my poor dog, she's buried!

We are used to this amount of snowfall in 2 days, but we normally don't get it til around Christmas. (Which is why the patio furniture is still out) This bites!!

If we got that much snow around here, the kids would be out for a week.

They close school if there is a thought of a flury.

If we got that much snow, it would shut down everything around here, and there would not be a loaf of bread or a gallon of milk in any store around.

However, we would have a blast. The kids would love it, and it would be time to get the 4wheeler out.

Lol I thought the same thing. Figured people wouldn't believe that I took it. I suck at taking pictures, but I love doing it. Maybe someday I will take a class and learn how to do it properly.

I agree that this does not happen around here. I sure hope it does not last long.

Not Western NY, today's high around here is 25 feels like 15 with the wind chill.

yep, we are sitting at -11c and -17c with the windchill. They are also calling for another 30 cms (1 foot) by tonight. 2-4cms per hour snowfall.

We seem to be getting less and less snow here each year, although the weatherman says the snow will arrive tonight or tomorrow at the latest. Seeing is believing in our case.

As the first flake hits the ground the local council will run out of road salt for the year and we get unsalted roads as usual for when it's icy. The council probably feel it's cheaper not to salt, since cars are all insured in the UK and it costs the council nothing when crashes happen - cheapskates!
