Just bought and installed a motodynamic headlight (smoked)...
Code:

Was kind of a b1tch to get the stock tail light out not gonna lie. But anyhow after i tightened everything up, the tail light seems to be a little loose in there. Much more play than i'd like and it's not completely flush with the fairing. I wasn't sure if if the stock tail light acted the same but am pretty sure it did.

What do you guys think? Your tail lights the same?

Yup.. definitely normal movement and yup.. it's to save the bulb filaments from premature failure due to vibration.

Leave it as is. Vibration will kill bulbs but it will also kill circuit boards and LEDs. The traces will lift and your LEDs will stop working if it vibrates too much. It's part of the reason I covered mine in hot glue (as well as to partially waterproof it).
