I am thinhking about purchasing an aftermarket exhaust. However I was wondering if it was possible to remove the baffles to give it more sound and if that was fine to do, otherwise I will purchase an aftermarket slip on. Has anyone done this before? thanks

try the search function. This has several threads already...

You have to remove the OEM, cut into it w/die grinder or whatever you can & cut out the innards & weld it back up, etc., etc..............I considered it, but only for a few seconds!:shakehead:
There's threads on this - use the search fuction if you want to.

I've been considering doing the same thing. I think it would be a pretty extensive project. You would also lose the stainless properties of the can. If you'd like me to explain more about it I'd be happy to.
