Hey Goop!
Now you have to tell us the story behind the name.

The story is simple. I had just moved to San Diego. My new boss called me on the phone one day and I was cooking dinner. I was talking on the phone and had some food all over my hands. I dropped the phone accidentally and said "Sorry I have goop all over my hands." He thought that was funny for some reason and began calling me that. Then everyone else did. That's it! :BLAA:

gpostarmy is the first part of my email address. G is the first letter in my first name, post is my last name, and army is why I am always gone. Made the email simple stupid for people and if they could not remember that, well I didn't need to talk to them.

Ransom

Does anyone smell blue?
Ransom is actually my last name.

I didn't use my nick name my friends gave my from 10 years ago because I think it just sounds creepy. They called me Chest Rockwell. This was a character from the movie Boogie Nights. They called me that because they thought my first and last name sounded like a porn star's name, so they gave me a real porn star's name.:BLAA:

Also most of my friends are Army buddies so I am Ransom to most people anyways, even my Goddaughter's call me Uncle Ransom.

XTRAWLD - had this since I started tuning cars. Because I got a car with the intention of showing it, I thought it would only be fitting to have a cool license plate to go with it. I've had this handle for years. One day might turn the W upside down instead when the tuning days are over! But as they say - once a tuner, always a tuner.

I've been a fan of 1st gen Pontiac Firebird (1967 to 1969) since I was 12. By the time I was 23 I picked up a convertible of that vintage but immediately wanted the 400 inch big block bad boy, holy grail of that era.

That 400 model has eluded me for over 20 years. It was too expensive then and has continued to get more expensive up to now (Still out of reach). and oh yeah somewhere along the way I tacked a list of stuff I wanetd my 400 inch ci dream F'Bird to have - a 4 speed, numbers matching, deluxe interior, hood tach, , power windows, disc brakes, etc. The thing is way out of reach.

Ah ha, but though there is good news!! Bikes are so easily attainable. Just a few thousand for a turnkey Fz6!! I always wanted a bike since 12 too.. so at least that dream came true. And I just took the Firebird out of registration for the first time in over 20 years. With the bike, I really don't think I will miss driving it.

Erci: btw, this is a great thread topic!!

I love firebirds, My dad has an '80 Trans AM, it had a 350 in it, but I took it out one night and blew a rod when I was 17 or 18. It took me at least 7 years to own up to that, he loves that car. He used my folly to put a 400 in it, the thing practically does wheel stands now, I'm afraid to drive it. So now He's got his T/A with the smokey and the bandit decals and I've got my FZ, and we sit around on holidays being jealous of each others toys.

My handle is simple, The Area code of where I live which I am very proud of and the name of the bike I am in love with.

My name here was originally nccoder for (Numeric Control Coder) computer controlled tasks such as machining and a plethora of any kind of machine control.

But I liked the name Motogiro for a long time. It's from the name of a cross country event riding classic motorcycles but originated from a race in Italy. The name was taken from: Giro Motociclistico d'Italia, the historic race, loved for its daring open-road excitement and competitive spirit.
I'm not Italian that I know of and I'm not nostalgic but I do believe in the soul of riding....
It was also better than "Bob Wehadababyitsaboy"

Its my name, shortened.

My nickname on football forums is "Whiz", but if I came on here and called my self that I don't think I would have been very widely accepted.

DownrangeFuture

I hit the random screen name on Xbox live until I found something I liked. I used to be "LonelyWarrior" or "XKnight" but when set up my orginal live account on the xbox "XKnight" was taken, so I got lonelywarrior. Mostly cause I used to always play as the sniper. I let my account lapse for like 5-6 months cause I was deployed, and they had cleaned the screen names and it was taken. It was only supposed to be on hold, and I complained, but someone else already had the name.

Since I hate numbers in my name, (it's like, "I'm the 569th person to be unoriginal") I decided on DownrangeFuture. Kind of has the same idea as, "I play the sniper".

AngelFZ comes from my name, Angel, and the bike FZ. Pretty simple, now I don't remember why is not AngelFZ6 - I think this one was taken already.

I used to Surf... so I loved big waves... and I was trying to get into the "warez" scene (warez = "easy software"), so wave-x, since adding an "X" to the end of every word was "l33t" on th3 int3rn3t at the t1m3 :D
