Hi from Chicago

The thing with Galena/Madison/Kettle is that you can get lost and have a good time.

The few times I'v been to Starved Rock I'v found a few good roads and a lot of boring ones.

I've only been to Starve Rock once, so I'm certainly not an expert. I remember it only being a 90 minute ride, where as I know Galena is 2-3 hours. Figure we might get a better turn out for a shorter ride. But I'm down for whatever, if we can get a group together.

Well a couple friends and I made the trip to Starved Rock yesterday. Beautiful windy ride up there. Then on the way back we got stuck in storms the entire way. If I never have to be stuck in Chicago bumper to bumper traffic soaking wet, I will be happy.

i rode out to a place near rockford, started raining on the way, and storming on the way home.....i was on all my summer/ventilated gear too
