Hey my name is Danny I just got a 2005 blue fz6, from what I read on the forum its the faster one.
I have been riding dirt for 13 years and this is my first street bike. Anyone have any advice for me about the bike. How often do you change tires on a street bike?
Thanks look forward to being on the forum.

Welcome to the site Danny:thumbup:

Glad you found us!!

FINALLY! Another member from Las Vegas! Any questions you have about your bike, the answer is probably in this forum. Just hit the search tab and type in the key word or words. It's a great place to find out answers. Just a quick note on the tires, I'm still on my original stock tires, 11 months and 12,000 miles.

Not much, just the dual headlight mod, Uncaged frame sliders, Yamaha swing arm stickers, Puig light-smoke windscreen. Planning to get seat cowling, headlight modulator, additional led brake, running and turn signals. Not necessarliy in that order.

Fast blue one, yah the frame of the bike is silver I like the black frame on yours. Ill post some pics.
Thanks for all the replies guy's.
: )

welcome to the site, enjoy the bike and good choice on the color. Tires will vary greatly depending on which tires you get as well as riding style. you cvan expect in between 5-13,000 miles though. The lower end is where you get grip and stickiness but you should be able to find the correct balance for you.

Hi Mate,

They don't do knobblys for the FZ6 lol. Depends on your riding 3-5000 miles from a rear and 4 - 6000 from a front. Very broardly speaking.
