Hello, i would like to introduce myself. My name is Miles Paulson and im a pretty recent owner of a brand spankin' new '09 FZ6. I bought it on a whim but im soo glad that i did, its such a fun bike to ride... Oh wait i was supposed to be talkin bout me. lol Anyway im in the Air Force as a vehicle mechanic.

Im currently stationed in Japan, but that wont be for very much longer (about a week) then i will be stationed in the great state of Louisiana at Barksdale AFB. Im originally from Washington State, so as you might think i am a fan of the outdoors.

Im slowly building up my toy collection, i have a 05 Yamaha Raptor 350, an old '68 Ford F100 Ranger, and a work in progress '70 Mercury Cougar.

Oh and im only 22 soon to be 23 in December.

I was raised around cars my whole life so i know my way under the hood ( at least i should since i am a mechanic ), but i really dont know much about bikes since ive never owned one before that ran. But i do know how they work at there basic level.

Anyway, im really glad i found this site, im sure it will help me alot with my new bike, and maybe i can meet some cool people in my area that i could go riding with.

Thats all for now!

Welcome, and thanks for helping our country stay safe and strong. We have many members here on this forum just like yourself, who serve our country. There's even a military forum as well.

Are you planning to ride your bike around base? Over here in Vegas, all the bases require you to first take a safety course.

Enjoy the humidity....LOL

Yes i do plan on riding it around base, and i am sure that i will have to take a MSC on base since i think its a DoD wide requirement now or at least an Air Force thing. Thanks for the kind words too.
