That is a very cool camera!

I ordered the GoPro 1080 HD though. It's on pre-sale for $279 and comes with the 30 meter waterproof case. Plus, you can now use an adapter to power it and not worry about batteries running out.

This would easily be a GREAT second choice for me.

Nice quality on the video. The lasers are probably for aiming and blinding people...Haha...

Looks pretty good, what do the lasers do?

It seems that for the level the camera. ??? not sure
As those helmet carmeras does not have LCD screen to preivew, they might put some idea on it.

Anyway, this one is also one of my wish list....

That's the camera I've had for few months now. (sort of.. mine's the 720p version)
Yes, lasers are there for aiming (camera lets you rotate the lens up to 180°, so it's necessary to be able to aim/level it).
Yes, there is no way to preview the video.
I had the GoPro too and found it to be very cheap / flimsy.

Raw video VholdR takes is excellent. The only issue, from my experience, is the crappy mounting system. There's a little bit of play in the mounting interface and there's no good option to mount it to a helmet.. it comes with a relatively large flat stick-on disk. My helmet doesn't have enough flat area to set this up right.

Here's a mountain bike video I shot with it:
