I'm looking for a more agressive riding position on my 07 fz6. Any ideas w/o spending to much?

Here is a pic of the red one. The Rizomas are a little straighter than the stock handlebars. You will lean a little more forward, but very little. They are also a little longer, you can cut them off or just leave them like I did. You will also need to tap them for the bar ends.

Do you have any clearance issues? Are these the 22 or 29mm? I have Rizoma grips and barends, so no tapping should be required. Thanks for the pic. What riser are you using?

Wolfman has the "Drag-bars" (MCS I think), looks real nice and is a more aggressive riding position...

FWIW, I went with '06 FZ-1 bars. $30.00 shipped new on Ebay. Had to roll controls very forward, but steering lock works! Great if you have long arms.

that Drag bar looks really Awesome on wolfman's bike! Will the drag bar work with the full fairing in the front?

I recommend the FZ1 bars. they help you lean forward a bit more, and honestly it feels like you're more in tune with the bike. If you do decide to do this mod I recommend just grinding the nub off the bottom of the throttle and headlight switch housings. The most difficult part of the whole mod for me was drilling the hole in the right spot to get it perfect. I also cut my bars down so I could have my hand's closer together to be more comfy (my preference). check it out. If you decide against the FZ1 bars I would say the Suburban Bar's are in the same class.

figured I'd go to the experts....

WILL THESE FIT MY BIKE?(07 fz6) I need to get closer to the bike, I am 6'1 and getting aches from riding hunched. I tried the bars back and forth, but I'm thinking if I get drag bars, I can position them downward, barring tank clearance?

hard to say. You'd have to try them out. if they don't work send them back and say they don't fit.

I wanna install the FZ1 bars(ordered them) but I'm worried about both my tank bag, and if in an accident the forks get twisted, the handlebar and controls will dent the tank.

My current bars are made for a dirt bike so they're big, wide, straight, and high. I have a huge tank bag and they don't hit eachother.
