Nope, sorry.. Its a motorcycle accessory, or at least part of one...
Is It part of the helmet lock that you make for the S1 & FJR's

neil

edit ok I should have gone back to page one, I genuinely guess it was your lock though, you posted it up a short while ago on a thread about paint matches.

Let me guess.... a bracket that you made for your bike that nobody else has for an accessory that doesn't even exist....

Kinda late answering that now, but yes I did make it.

That specific one is for a BMW, and no, they've been available on the market (the BMW's ) thru Pirates Lair for at least 7 years. There are other designs of brackets for the BMW's depending on the bike..

The 06 and up FJR's use a similar style (different demensions) and uses either the same helmet lock the FZ has stock, or a Helmet Gardian lock assembly.

All the FJR frames are the silver color, Rustoleum I posted previously. The BMW frames are either the exact silver as our beloved Yamaha's or come in black (so I make the BMW brackets in black and silver). Pirate's lair sells them as a kit.

I designed and make other helmet lock brackets as well for the Concours, MV Agusta, an 1100 Ducuti Monster and some other BMW's that Pirate DOESN't sell or carry

The below pictures are of the 2006 and up FJR's with optional tabs for BMW style electrical outlets.

The BOTTOM left pic is the Ducuti, the bottom two right are for the Kawaaski Concours 1400 (also uses a Yamaha style lock but with opposite key offset)

See above post for the FJR.

As for our FZ's, I wanted another helmet lock for a passenger. Scrounged up a Yamaha lock and made an aluminum bracket to bolt under the RIGHT rear peg to mount the lock (its black). It obviously doesn't clamp around the frame like the FJR or BMW..

For the left side, I wanted the helmet lock out a little bit more and also a BMW electrical outlet for heated clothing, air compressor, etc.. Made a similar bracket but longer and put a hole in it for the electrical outlet(see below pictures)

My guess was an airplane - pretty big tire for a plane -

So to figure out more specifically I cheated and looked up the dimensions. I'll leave that out so I don't spoil the fun for everyone else.

OK, close. Just not quite so old, not Boeing and goes a hair fast than 55mph.

Who's your friend in the pic? ;):D
