Hey all, i have read so much good stuff on this site about grip puppies, is there only the one place in the states to get them (california sport tourering), the postage to here is 3 times the item. I have actually been thinking of selling them here but there is no way to talk on the net to these guys, there must be either a manufacturer or distributor, if anyone can give me better info please do. thanks.

Grip Puppies id only one manufacture of slip on covers. I got mine from the Parts Unlimited catalog, cost ~$8. Made from the same material as the Grip Puppies. So any Parts Unlimited dealer should be able to get them. Dennis Kirk also has grip covers too.

was gonna say yup parts unlimited my dads a dealer and thats where i got mine  also added a throttle boss from Kuryakyn. not sure if thats in the parts unlimited street book though...

I just ordered the grip puppies form California ST......

Also just ordered the throttle rocker for my bike.

IS the throttle boss the same kind of thing as the throttle rocker?

I saw that originally too when I wanted to purchase them so I called them first. Talked to them and they gave me a cheaper price for shipping (it's foam for Pete's sake, like mailing "bubble shipping pack") and it was on par with the postal rates. He gave me a total price and asked that I send that amount via Paypal with a quick explanation, and two weeks later, I have Grip Puppies!

my grip puppies showed up in the mail today...
they seem a little big? in the instructions it says put soapy water on 'em...
does that shrink them to fit?

They don't shrink and the size you need is the "small" and you will need to cut them to length.

All of those perform the same function, as does the CrampBuster, which is what I have. Some stay on better than others. I had a cheap one that used a Velcro strap to hold the paddle on. Well after time, it would not hold very tight and would slip.

alright so i am not the most informed person when it comes to gadgets like this. with that said.

the grip puppie, throttle rocker and throttle boss are all the same thing right. just a place to kinda of throttle the bike with the heel of your hand and loosen up your grip a bit on long trips right?

Grip Puppies are foam slip on covers for the stock handgrips. CrampBuster, Throttle Rocker, Throttle Boss are all forms of "manual cruise control" that allow you to take pressure off of your throttle hand. Helps on longer rides.

2 weeks to save a dollar or two o wait your not cause your paying shipping they are $11.95 through parts unlimited and you can usually have them next day. plus if the dealer is big enough you don't pay any shipping. the Throttle boss is $9.95....

How much for one of us to send them to you? check zip 75070

According to the US Postal Service web site, sending a small package weighing 8 ounces (which is more than a package with grip puppies would weigh) via First Class Mail to Australia would be US$7.32.

Aussiejules, I'd be happy to buy a set and mail them to you.

By the way, I have a set and highly recommend them.
