Hello everyone. I'm not an FZ6 owner but my Dad just bought one in June shortly after I bought my bike. I'd have to say this has brought us a lot closer together and I enjoy our father/son bond more than ever today. Anyway, he loves his bike. He uses it to commute a few times a week here in SoCal since you can pretty much ride all year long. Just introducing his bike out there. I must say though, riding a GSXR600 and hopping onto a FZ6 is a world of difference. I personally love the comfort for the FZ6 more than my own bike and it's so easy to handle as well. The banana seat definitely comes in handy if you're riding 2up. Anyway, I look forward to checking out this forum. Thank you.

Here's a pic of my Gix.. 2007 w/ 7K miles on it since June. I usually commute with it and canyons on the weekends but because of the weather down here, I haven't had the chance to get on it for the past week.



On another note, I'm trying to find my Dad a taller windscreen and I'm not sure what's available. I've seen on another thread about someone having it but I think it's a bit too tall and oversized (no offense). I'm specifically looking for a double bubble perhaps.. Does anyone have an idea of what's available specifically for the 07s? Thanks in advance.

This is actually my Dad's 3rd bike I believe. He used to ride in the late 80's to early 90's. It was some sort of Suzuki, I can't remember. But he stopped for about 2 decades and now he has the FZ6. You gotta love that Yamaha first time buyer financing plan.. haha

What kind of camera are you using on that mount?

I'm just using a Cannon SD. The mount works well. Very little to no vibration at all depending on road surfaces. Videos, I had when I first started learning to ride, but I need to upload them. haha.. I haven't gotten any recent ones but I'm working on them.
