After over 6 years of ownership and 116,000km/72,000mi it has come time to part with my FZ6. I'm gonna miss her. She has carried through 10 provinces, 2 territories and 36 states. From as far north as the Arctic Circle to the far southern tip of Key West in Florida.

She never left me stranded, and always got me home safe.

In comemerating my time with the bike I thought about posting pictures of my odometer rolling over every 10k km, but decided that I would rather share the places my faithful fz6 has taken me.

So without further ado......

There's no words to describe how jealous I am. You have seen some fantastic places. I can only dream to do the same.

FJR is one lucky lady.

That was a very fitting tribute to your bike and thank you very much for sharing the great pictures. The one of the buffalo actually had me laughing...kept thinking "wholly ___ those things are big" LOL

The new bike looks great.....

Ride safe

That was nery, very neat.

I envy you, your bike and all your travels... Great memories... Hope you'll still stick around.

BTW, You'll love that 2013 FJR, especially with the electronic cruise control, new electronic dash, etc. Easily, a 200,000 mile machine..

The main FJR forum I frequent, (lots of information, tech tips, etc) and most folks are EXTREMLY KNOWLEDGEABLE:

Caladin.....I'm sure I speak for others when I say "I hope you will stick around the forum".
You're ride reports were always among the best here. I'd hate to miss out on those this summer.
Have fun on the new Yamaha, hope she takes you to new heights :Sport:

I'm new here so don't know of you... though I do have to say, your pics and bike look amazing, and what a brilliant feat to be have clocked up so many amazing miles.

Good luck with the new bike - Hope you have many more safe adventures with equally stunning photos opportunities.

What an inspirational thread. Thank you for sharing all those awesome pictures.

I hope to put as many miles and see as many incredible scenes on my FZ6 before upgrading to an FJR later in life.
