Hi guys,
I have parted ways with my FZ6N after it became very unwell. I put it in to have a service at my local dealer and they found water in the oil. Water pump mechanical seal had gone, then the bleed nipple on the brake caliper snapped and so did the "easy out" they tried to get it off with. Finally, they found a bearing had gone in the gearbox. Since the likely cost of repairs was approaching 1/3rd of the bikes book value, I've traded it in for a brand new CBR500R which I get on Saturday.
It's a great shame because I had come to love that bike and will miss it for a while I suppose. Anyway, thanks to those who answered my queries and pleas for help. I doubt I'll be around here much so very best wishes to all!
