A guy I know through work told me about The Spyder Experience he did back in March and its back in Adelaide in August and October .

So I thought I would give it a try, looks like fun.I,m booked in for the 12:30pm slot on Friday 28th August. Most of the weekend slots where booked but I,m keeping an eye just in case they get a cancellation.

Thought I would post this in case any of you guys want to have a go.

we just had one here in ny. i rode sport one with performance upgrades there nice. but i think there more towards order ppl that would like to ride but feel more comfortable and safer. my bike would defently toast one. (fz6r) but they r nice but the price is a for sure turn off.

One of my local Yamaha shops sells them too. I rode one last summer. Just about crapped my pants going into the first corner because I forgot that it isn't going to lean. After that it was smooth sailing. Very interesting ride. I snowmobile a lot in the winter and the thing is literally a snowmobile on wheels. I dont think Id ever buy one though, way overpriced in my mind.

Yeah I booked a ride for a couple of weeks ago but then had to work so I dont know what they are like to ride.

The price though was just crazy starting at £12k.
Wow you could buy 2 FZ6s for that money.

Yeah that was my plan but work got in the way. So I'm just staying on their mail newsletter and see if another comes up.

I am intrigued by those things, but do not think it would be my thing....

I might think that it would be useful as a winter "bike" that i can ride in the snow :)

Yeah I know what you mean. But like Oz says it's just a test pilot thing. thanks but no thanks. Even if I could afford it.

Definitely not my thing.......i thought riding a bike, was all about leaning through corners.....still, they look Horn!
