Gixxer headlight on an FZ6N?

Is it possible to take a stock headlight assembly from a SS bike like a 'Busa or Gixxer? I assume a fair amount of wiring would need to be done and probably some custom-fashioned brackets as well. If it is possible, has anyone here done it, or seen pics of lights like that on a Naked Fizzer?

I just think something like this could look good on the front of an FZ6.

Wow, I'm an idiot! As soon as I posted this, it clicked all of a sudden that this is what was on the Wavex Streetfighter 1.0 right? I like the mini-fairing that you had on that light, where did you get it? I think it could still look good without the fairing though, providing a quick spray job and polish everything up a bit.

Yeah that fairing definitely looks sweet. Anyone ever seen one of the headlights mounted by itself without the fairing/housing? I bet it would still look pretty good, just not quite as "finished".

Sure would be a hell of a lot cheaper.

There's a few pictures in those 2 links. You'll probably want to dremel off the mounting tabs to give it a cleaner look if you're not going to be using a custom fairing on it.

Sweet, thanks for those links. Still looks pretty sharp without the KMP fairing, so since I'm a cheap college grad who's going back to school in the fall, looks like the perfect option for me!

I would personally not do it... it may look ok in the links above ^^, but in real life it looks like **** without a mini-fairing IMHO.

Wait a few months, save up some cash, and buy a full headlight unit from here https://www.europeanstreetfighter.com/index.php?page=shop&ID=0&subpage=21 (see following pages too)... you won`t regret it.

Wiring is fairly easy if you know the basics.
