Just installed a set of V35s and SW Motech carriers. I absolutely love them!!!
Installation, although requires some time is not hard at all. I am not too mechanically gifted, actually kind of challenged, and didn't think it was too complicated.

I agree, looking good, but do yourself a HUGE favor and purchase some low cost insurance in the form of...FRAME SLIDERS.

I realize that if you've got the bags on there and have an off they'll bear the brunt of the damage and frame sliders wouldn't do you much good. But if, by chance, you're ever riding without the bags and have a drop, you'll be thankful they're there.

But those bags are NICE!

They are very nice even thought they are not as fast as the black ones.... ;)

I have actually been thinking about frame sliders for a while. Any recommendations?

Everyone has their own opinions and favourites here.

I have GYTR - Genuine Yamaha ones. The cost me AUS$100 and I have had dropped the bike (while stationery). Stopped all damage to my bike.

Oggy Knobs also have a great reputation.

Be careful buying "Hong Kong" or "Chinese" cheapies from Ebay.

Like most accessories, you pay for what you get. :D

If your into the full touring rig, those things look fantastic...and with the Top Box as well, i reckon you could just about fit the kitchen sink in, for your next trip away.

;)
