I guess it's back to the drawing table (literaly) and start thinking on setting up my own CNC mill.... (It could come in very handy )

no wonder the houses in america blow over with a strong wind e.g. tornadoes
if you watch tornado results all the damage is done to non traditional housing materials
and the traditional ones made of brick and concrete are relatively untouched

Houses here are built for the same single purpose everything else is--to make money. Not to survive tornadoes, earthquakes, or even in many cases the raising of a large family. They're more or less disposable over here. Same kind of thinking that allowed big box retailers to do their part in sending so much of our manufacturing sector overseas. That and the fact that most of us think we're too good for factory jobs.

To be fair, any contractor can build a home that withstands whatever you want it to, but the buyer has to pay for it; most won't.
