Getting set for touring season! What are the first 5 things you take with you?

1. Clean undies!
2. Hair ties because mine seem to always fly off...
3. Tinted moisturizer, toner and cleanser and at least my purple swipe on eyeshadow and mascara!
4. iPhone
5. Sports bra! Coz these fun bags hurt when constantly jiggled!!

Seriously though, I usually take a swag, my little seat bag, and a small back pack. I sleep in my leathers (only need a light sleeping bag that way), and with this little gear can go camping and fishing for 4 or 5 days. No room for luxuries...lol.

My advice on phone:

buy a pay as you go. That way you have the safety feature of a cell phone without any of the mental baggage. Thats what Im doing for the next one.

I have an old army despatch riders bag (as seen on many an old Harley riders shoulder) and it goes with me everywhere. I once featured it on this site as a bike riders survival kit.
Now 5 things that are essential for the touring season.

1. Water bottle (you break down or stop to help someone, more likely, you have water) essential.

2. Blistix (Army supply) - stops cracked lips.

3. RACV Card - they come and transport your bike home anywhere / anytime at $70 per annum

4. HMMMM toss up between Panadol and cable ties, probably go with the Panadol as fencing wire can be substituted for cable ties.

5. My Old Timer (biker insurance) had it since I was 18 and carry it everywhere. Yaeh, bakerlite handle, carbon steel and made in the good ole USA.
