I don't usually put the bike away for the winter. It's not an issue now that I live in the south. However, I rode in Ohio whenever the there was no chance of the frozen surfaces. Year before last I rode my '82 GS 1100 363 of 365 days. Just dress for conditions and be safe. GRUMPY

it is getting down to the end for most folks in my parts too, i ride when it is over 30F outside and tend not to below that. we'll see what happens this year though
